Le Document TV launches with Bogart documentary narrated by Christopher Strauli and featuring music composed and performed by Francis Macdonald

 Le Document magazine, which is co edited by Harry Pye and Chris Tosic, began 18 months ago. On the 15th of every month their subscribers are e-mailed new photos, reviews, essays, interviews and photos of cats. Another regular feature in Le Document is the Movie Profiles which are written by Jo Mama. Filmmaker Gordon Beswick has just completed a video version of Jo's tribute to Humphrey Bogart. Jo's text is read by the actor Christopher Strauli. The film's soundtrack was composed and performed by Francis Macdonald (who is the drummer of Teenage Fanclub and has been nominated for a BAFTA  for his sublime, minimalist  classical compositions.)

The film features Bogart inspired artworks by a plethora of the usual suspects...

Book of the Month is 'So Young: Suede 1991-1993' a deluxe photo book documenting the formative years of UK rock band Suede featuring unseen photos, gig flyers, early posters and diary entries from the archives of band member Simon Gilbert it begins with the drummer making his way to London in the early 90s, hellbent on joining a band and forging a career in music.

"Announcement of the month" regards an exciting group show in Ramsgate taking place at the 20th of Aug at The Front Room Gallery on Bellevue Road.

The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band were one of the best bands of all time.

 In 2006, David Christie, began piecing together the history of the band and research into the  artistic activities of what he considered to be the eight key Bonzos; Rodney Slater, Vivian Stanshall, Vernon Dudley Bowhay Nowell, Sam Spoons, Neil Innes, Roger Ruskin Spear, “Legs” Larry Smith, and Bob Kerr. Neil Innes described David's project as being "a truly Herculean task being lovingly carried out."
