Photos from Kaparte Boat Party (Feat. Mathew Sawyer, Piper's Son & Special Guests)

On Thursday 24th of April "Kaparte Promotions" joined forces with "The Rebel Magazine" to loudly present: Karparte Boat Party The evening was a launch party for Mining the debut single by Thom Driver's magnificent band Piper's Son The legendary Vic Godard of Subway Sect joined joining Piper's Son on stage to pay tribute to the late Lou Reed. There was also a screening of Geoffrey Taylor's 15 minute film, "Close" (which features songs by Subway Sect on it's soundtrack.) A few splendid songs from The European. And last but not least the extra special head line act was the magnificent Mathew Sawyer. The night was a huge success and a splendid time was had by all.

Francis Macdonald and Harry Pye: "We Love Mike Love"

Last week work began on the video for an exciting new tribute song by Francis Macdonald and Harry Pye to Beach Boy legend Mike Love

which will be unveiled at The Solstice Show which opens on 21st June at London's Westbank Gallery and also features contributions from: Alison Jackson, Sarah Maple, Hayden Kays, Eine, and Mr.Brainwash.
