Volunteers needed for when The Lindt Big Egg Hunt comes to Birmingham
In 2013, Action for Children will be taking The Lindt Big Egg Hunt on tour. One hundred giant eggs designed by leading artists (including Billy Childish, Mikey Georgeson, Paul Savage, and Team Beswick & Pye) will start off in Covent Garden and go on a road trip to Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow before returning to London for Easter week. Last year we raised over £1 million for charity, helping young people and their families across the country.
We need volunteers who can assist at The Lindt Big Egg Hunt in Birmingham.
Activities will include:
•Cleaning, repair, patching and moving of eggs.
We need volunteers who:
•Are available for four hour shifts (either 10am – 2pm or 2-6pm), between Monday 18th February – Monday 25th February 2013 - you can do as few or as many shifts as possible and you are of course welcome to work a double shift - but don’t forget to bring your lunch!
•Have good visual and technical skills
•Have a creative background/experience (essential)
•Have painting and model-making experience (desirable)
•Have a sense of fun!
Benefits of the role include:
This is an invaluable opportunity for arts’ students and graduates to gain work experience on a large-scale, interactive exhibition.
