"A Letter In Mind" charity exhibition in The Oxo Tower
One in six people in the UK are affected by a neurological condition so it's important to help The National Brain Appeal who are a charity dedicated to raising funds for the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. "A Letter in Mind" is an exhibition of envelopes which artists have decorated. The envelopes are sold for £80 a go. Only when the purchaser buys the work will the atist's name be revealed. Money from the sale goes to the N.H. for N&N to help them care for people with MS, brain cancer, epilepsy, and Parkinson's disease.
The exhibition which runs until the 18th of October is one of the events celebrating The National Brain Appeal’s 30th Anniversary. Artists who took part include in the project include Grayson Perry, Billy Childish, Horace Panter, Kevin Eldon, Micko Westmoreland, Raksha Patel, Professor Will Alsop, and Harry Pye!
The exhibition is on at:
Oxo Tower Wharf, Bargehouse Street, South Bank, London, SE1 9PH.
